A photographic discovery of the wonderful dogs who inhabit the concrete jungle of Downtown Los Angeles.
Welcome....
Welcome to Dogs of Downtown where we showcase our wonderful four-legged friends who live and visit the Downtown Los Angeles area.
Downtown Los Angeles is home to more than 13,000 dogs who live in lofts, apartments, houses and hotels. As Downtown continues to expand and grow, so too will the number of pets. Downtown Los Angeles is unique in that most lofts and residential buildings allow dogs - most without breed/weight restrictions. This attracts many people who own or wish to own a dog to move into the area. Couple that with the increasing number of world class restaurants, activities and nightlife and it becomes clear why Downtown is one of the most desireable and fastest growing areas in Los Angeles.
Dogs of Downtown strives to show-off our incredible diverse mix of dogs who walk the streets, play in the parks and hang out at restaurants. We hope you enjoy it!

Tramp - Schnoxie
If you live in Downtown L.A., chances are you have seen Tramp riding on his daddy's lap while being driven on the EBike. Or, since his daddy works for Walk Fido, perhaps you have seen him walking in a large group of well behaved doggies. Tramp is a 5 year old mix of Schnauzer and Daschund, which makes him a Schnoxie!
Bradley - Cocker Spaniel
Dear sweet Bradley was the love of a good friend of mine who owns The Downtown News. A while back Bradley fell ill. He fought a very brave fight and after several years of treatment, he succumbed to his illness and passed away. He is now forever by his Mom's side. Rest in peace dear Bradley.
Jackson - Pitbull Mix
This is one handsome little man! 7 year old Jackson came to Downtown L.A. from Orlando Florida with his mom in April. He has adjusted perfectly to his new surroundings and is one happy chappy! He was surrendered to the vet when he was about 6 mos. old because of a nasty spider bite which resulted in the removal of one toe. His mom took him home and they have been together since.
PS - He's a "leaner" too!

English Bulldog
This is such an adorable little pup and I am so ashamed to admit that I lost the paper with the details for her "bio". I will add her information after I see her again! I did want to make sure her picture was in the blog because LOOK HOW CUTE THIS FACE IS!!!
